Fabien Polair’s first new music release in 16 years, Sweet Christmas Dream, now available
The single is now available on all digital music platforms. It’s his first release of new material since 2008’s Crossroads Middletown and the first single off his upcoming new album set for release very shortly.
This celestial, exalted song, filled with chimes and angelic choirs, is an ode to Christmas and new-found love and family life.
The music and melody to the song date back to the 1990’s, with a first original recording named End of the Night made in 1996 with his then-band UNaware.
The track has been completely reworked and re-recorded with an acoustic treatment and brand new lyrics.
Inspired by his favourite artists’ exploration of the festive season, such as Sufjan Stevens, Ben Folds or Low, as well as timeless Christmas classics such as Fairytale of New York or The First Noel, Sweet Christmas Dream may well be the first Christmas Dream Pop song ever.
And it’s also a family affair with the participation of his two young sons at the very end of the song.
Sweet Christmas Dream is the first single off Fabien’s first album in 16 years, Love, Loss & Side-Tales of Recovery, due for release shortly.
Feel free to add the song to your Christmas playlists 😉
I hope you enjoy it
